Structural characteristics of Scott

The Scott coupling transformer is usually composed of two single-phase transformers. A three-phase high-voltage winding with a "T" junction can be formed by connecting the end of a high-voltage winding of a transformer to the center of another high-voltage winding. Each low-voltage winding is a simple single-phase winding and there is no electrical connection between them. Their voltage and current are the same as ordinary single-phase transformers. But each high-voltage winding and current are different from ordinary single-phase transformers.
